Brethren RW Bro S.I. Edwards has announced Mark Masons response to the relief appeal was to donate £49.000 .
The relief was in the form of 100 shelter boxes as they are called. They contain materials for making a shelter, equipment for purifying water, clothing and shoes together with emergency food supplies. The boxes provide for a group of people rather than individuals and are reported as being very well received. They were flown out within four days of the order being placed.
After seeing the pictures of the awful suffering of these people we offer our sincere thanks to all who act on our behalf in placing the relief where it is required with the minimum amount of delay.
