At the General Purposes Committee on Friday 29th January 2010 The RW Provincial Grand Master Francis Charles Spencer announced that VW Bro Anthony Timothy Morris the Deputy Provincial Grand Master was to retire in June of this year.
The PGM paid tribute to his deputy who he said would leave a lasting legacy for us all in the changes and improvements he has brought about through five years of hard and loyal service both in the Province and at Grand Lodge. He said he would have more to say about “”Tim” before his actual retirement but reminded Tim, and all present, that he had agreed to continue in many of the roles he had taken on for the province particularly in connection with the Appeal 2015.
The PGM then went on to announce that W Bro L. E. Bourne, JP Grand Inner Guard was to become the Deputy Provincial Grand Master of Mark Master Masons in the Province of Worcestershire.
All present welcomed and congratulated W Bro Eric Bourne on the announcement of his appointment and afterwards expressed their appreciation of the outgoing deputy.
St Egwin’s Lodge of Mark Master Masons and the Royal Ark Mariners Lodge, offer very warm congratulations to W Bro Eric and look forward to greeting him in lodge in the very near future.
We also express our warmest and heartfelt thanks to VW Bro Tim who has spent many evenings with us at Evesham. We are pleased to hear that he will continue in some of the roles that he has performed throughout his time serving the province. Most of all we wish him good health to enjoy his retirement which is very much deserved.
